Ingredients for Puttu
For Puttu Flour
- 2 cups roasted rice flour (puttu podi)
- 1 cup grated coconut
- Salt (as needed)
- Water (to moisten the flour)
🍛 Ingredients for Kadala Curry (Black Chickpea Curry)
For Cooking Kadala
- 1 cup kadala (black chickpeas)
- 3 cups water
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Salt (as needed)
For Masala
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tomato (chopped)
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2–3 green chillies (slit)
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- 2–3 dry red chillies
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp fennel powder
- ¼ cup coconut (grated or coconut milk)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
